This Workbook is activity-based and includes colouring, drawing, cutting out and identifying objects, as well as written exercises. There is a complete page for each of the forty-two passages which have been recorded on cassette. By using each page and asking the pupils to solve problems, to follow instructions, or to put pictures in order, the Workbook ensures that the pupils have listened carefully. Since they can solve the problems only if they have understood what they have heard, the pupils have to listenwith a purpose.
