We investigate theoretically characteristics ofSmith-Purcell radiation in THz and X-ray frequencyregions for two types of distribution of the particles in thebeam. The expression for spectral-angular distribution ofsuch radiation is obtained and analyzed, both for fully andpartially modulated beams.
