Electric Motors and Drives, Fourth Edition is intended primarily for non-specialist users of electric motors and drives. It fills the gap between math- and theory-based academic textbooks and manufacturers' handbooks, which provide useful detail but provide little opportunity for the development of real insight and understanding. The fourth edition has been substantially updated to reflect the significant advances in this vibrant area of technology.
