The kinetics of the exchange and the efficiency of the separation of alkali metal ions were studied in water-propanol solutions of salts. It was shown that the character of the exchange and efficiency of the ion separations under study varied appreciably with the concentration of propanol in the solution. The swelling of KU-2 x 8 cationite in various ionic forms in water-alcohol solutions was studied. The kinetics of the exchange and the efficiency of the separation of alkali metal ions were studied in water-propanol solutions of salts.
