It allowed to reveal the basic patterns of formation of silver active sites on the support surface(unmodified and modified titanium oxide), to identify the causes of changes in the catalytic properties underthe action of modifying additives and the pretreatment conditions, and to find approaches to modulate theelectronic and catalytic properties of supported silver.
