It is shown that from the position of increasing resistance to wear under dry sliding friction, basalt particles and fibers during reinforcement of the UHMWPE matrix are equally effective at moderate loading and speed: the wear resistance of composites has increased by 1.5 times with a content of 10 wt. % filler while the coefficient friction – in 1.8 times.
