The unsuccessful operation of automatic recloser also was simulated. The obtained results made it possible to evaluate the effect of simplifications used in modern software systems on the value of short circuit currents. Calculation errors of the momentary fault current received from software systems “ARM SRZA”, “Eurostag” were estimated in comparison with the values obtained in the HRTSim. In this work, serial of three-phase and single-phase earth faults were simulated using the “ARM SRZA”, “Eurostag” software systems and the Hybrid real time power system simulator (HRTSim) in the Tomsk electric power system.
