Экспериментальный "зонтичный" формат магистерской программы "Инжиниринг реабилитационных и вспомогательных технологий" = The experimental "umbrella" format of the master''s program "Engineering of Rehabilitation and Auxiliary Technologies" / Л. В. В.
Personnel is an important problem in the organization of rehabilitation of persons with special needs (SN). Specialists with competencies in various aspects of this problem are needed: to develop high-tech products for rehabilitation purposes, to design, produce and use them. To solve this problem, the authors propose an “umbrella model” for training master students. The essence of the model is the creation of the same profile within the three fields of master's training that would cover the entire life cycle of high-tech devices for the rehabilitation of persons with SN - from design and production to operation. To implement this model, three fields of master's training were selected: Mechatronics and Robotics, Biotechnical Systems and Technologies and Physical Culture. Programs for the profile with the common name “Engineering of Rehabilitation and Auxiliary Technologies” were developed in the three fields. A curriculum was developed that provided basic and elective parts. Disciplines of the two modules of the basic part, as well as disciplines of the interdisciplinary professional module of the elective part of the curriculum, correspond to the fields of training; master students of each field study them in the general flow with students of other profiles of this direction. Disciplines of the elective interdisciplinary professional module “Engineering Rehabilitation and Auxiliary Technologies” are common for master students of all fields who study in this profile, and are studied jointly. The structure of this module was developed taking into account the need to develop competencies that will allow program graduates to effectively interact in the development, production and operation of hightech devices for the rehabilitation of persons with SN.; The second important distinctive feature of the “umbrella” format of the master's training is the joint project activities of students of the three fields during internships and research work in the semester. To form competencies related to the interaction of specialists from different fields with each other, at the first stages of training the creation of project teams is planned. Teams will include master students from different fields of the program to solve complex problems related to the creation of innovative products for the implementation of rehabilitation and support technologies for persons with SN. Students will jointly have to suggest an idea for such a project, justify its effectiveness for rehabilitation and develop a technology for its implementation. The implementation of the described format for training masters in the field of engineering of rehabilitation and auxiliary technologies has broad prospects. This sphere (production of goods and services to meet the needs of persons with SN) is one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy in Russia and in the world today; it receives support from international non-governmental foundations. The need for specialists of this profile is constantly growing. At the same time, the proposed format for the implementation of training in the master's program is unique; accessible sources contain information about the implementation of similar programs in other universities..
