According to the research results, it was found that the release of sulfur oxides in the gaseous pyrolysis products of all of the test coal–wood mixtures significantly decreased (by 95% at a high fraction of wood biomass). The researchers have carried out experimental studies of gaseous products of the joint pyrolysis of power-generating coals, which are typical and widely used in Russia and abroad, and wood (sawdust of pine wood species).
