In connection with increase of the requirements to constant supply of fields with irrigation water and the development of new fields, the problem has risen to increase the unit power of energy-power equipment and water rising height, to optimize and to improve the electric drive of a pump station. In 1995, the French alliance 09 corporations BRL and SFEC made a contract with Uzbekistan according to which it assumed obligations on reconstruction of the main irrigation canal-Golodnostepsky 1.
