330 _aDeuterium release from niobium, palladium and stainless steel is substantially increased by accelerated electrons and X-rays. The tested material is heated linearly from 20 to 500 °C and simultaneously exposed to the accelerated electron radiation, leading to a considerable shift of the deuterium release maximum to a low temperature region. The release rate increases superlinearly to the beam current. Deuterium release stimulated by an electron beam with a relatively small cross-section occurs from the whole volume of the sample. The enhanced hydrogen release from the investigated metals under a radiation is interpreted as excitation of non-equilibrium oscillations of hydrogen subsystem in the metals.
