330 _aThe promising phosphor LiF〈U〉-O has been studied by nanosecond-resolution pulsed spectrometry. The uranium and oxygen luminescence buildup and decay characteristics have been measured at 300 K. The uranium luminescence buildup under nanosecond electron excitation has been shown to involve two steps. The effect of pulsed electron irradiation on the activator luminescence efficiency has been assessed.
