330 _aIn this paper a new method of power transmission wire’’s deicing is described. Deicing process is divided into three independent sub-processes, namely the process of melting the thin inner layer of ice cover, the process of ice cylinder fracturing into components due to bending deformations; the process of shaking off the fractured ice cylinder elements by inertial forces. Mathematical description of each sub-process is shown.
