330 _aIn the paper, the general problem of design of measurement while drilling telemetry systems with the communication radio channel in a drilling pipe is considered. Urgency of the use of microwave video pulse radio signals for data transfer is evaluated. Estimation of the signal attenuation in the drilling pipe filled with the conductivity media is carried out. The general structure of system is considered and its modeling in the Matlab Simulink software is carried out. Qualitative comparison of results with experimental data is investigated.
