330 _aJanssen problem of the loose material pressure on the drum bottom and walls was numerically investigated by discrete element method in 3D coordinate system. Dry friction of granulated material particles was taken into consideration as well as friction of drum walls. The effect of a filling process on the stress state of medium was demonstrated.
