330 _aEnergy conservation, fault tolerance, and congestion mitigation are important issues in a wireless sensors network (WSN). In order to design comprehensive reliable WSN all these problems should be taken into account. In this paper, a short survey of the existing fault-tolerance techniques is presented. The aim of the survey is to assess the feasibility of the fault-tolerant prioritized transmission scheme development. For such a scheme, a calculation method for a number of faulty nodes in a network with pre-specified number of nodes and relative discrepancy value is proposed.
