330 _aThe composition and structure of the surface layer, formed as a result of dry friction of the steel disc and Al-Sn composites, were studied. The research showed that the final stage of composites wearing is the destruction of the thin surface layer formed as a result of the sample's material and oxide particles mixing during dry friction.
