330 _aThis paper offers a mathematical model that allows determining the performance and throughput of an IP network node under conditions when the amount of space in the router RAM is not constant, that is, in the case of overloads and a number of other factors. The Cisco Packet Tracer software package is used as a network emulator. The results of mathematical and simulation modeling are compared.
