The phase structure and the morphology of the coatings were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It was found that the oxide ceramic coatings mainly consisted of tetragonal zirconia with m- ZrO[2] and SiO[2].
